Rolls-Royce to build new logistics centre in Bognor Regis
13 October 2014
McLaren Construction has been awarded the contract to build the Technology and Logistics Centre for the luxury car maker.
The facility will be located on the Oldlands Farm Business Park on the northern edge of Bognor Regis. The 30,000 sq m development is close to the car maker’s current home at Goodwood, West Sussex.
Construction of the facility began in September and is due to complete within a tight 48 week timeframe. The facility will be part of the ‘Enterprise Bognor Regis’ initiative, which looks to develop the town and the surrounding area as a new premier business location in West Sussex.
This win follows on from McLaren’s delivery of Jaguar Land Rover’s new manufacturing plant in Solihull.
