Sustainability report
12 October 2015
Underscoring the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability, Crown has published a new ecologic report, which highlights its recent global efforts to minimise waste, manage energy use, and maximise product and facility lifespan.

The report also emphasises Crown’s efforts to explore and implement ecologically conscious practices in every facet of its business, illustrating a commitment to employees, communities and customers.
In 2014, Crown’s New Knoxville plant was the first-ever facility to earn the gold-level Environmental Excellence Award from the Ohio EPA’s Encouraging Environmental Excellence (E3) program. Earlier this year, Crown became a two-time recipient of the award when its electronics assembly plant earned another gold-level award. The company also collaborates with suppliers to improve the supply chain through optimised logistics that increase energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
