Rulmeca UK to showcase rollers and components at PPMA Total Show

These include:

• The 111 series Rollers in techno polymer - lightweight, quiet and smooth running, capable of handling the lightest of packages. They are very versatile having various application possibilities thanks to the special characteristics of being extremely quiet and particularly smooth running.

• The 135 series Driven Rollers have the same general characteristics of the 117 series. With options of Polyamide and steel pinion sprockets, with Poly-V/round belt head and in the new version 135/VA with fixed head. Available in diameters 40, 50, 60 and 63, with zinc-plated mild steel, AISI 304 or shock resistant PVC tubes.

• Idle rollers series 119 with Technopolymers and radial bearings 6205-2RZ and tube diameter 80-89 in zinc-plated steel. They are ideal for the pallets handling and they are perfectly combined with the driven rollers series 139.

• Driven rollers series 139 similar to the 119 series but with steel pinion welded to the tube end diameter 80-89. Equipped with bearings 6205-2RZ and 6204-2RZ on the pinion side, they have perfect application in pallet and heavy loads handling.

• RDR 24VDC Drive Roller Easy installation requiring no external components. Direct interface with PLC. High efficiency, low energy consumption.  Wide range of speeds and torque available. Run speed adjustment and speed ramp regulation. Simple control of handled product. Low noise level.

Rulmeca is also showing Motorised Pulleys: a totally enclosed unit, with the motor, gearbox and all working parts hermetically sealed within the outer shell. Rulmeca Motorised Pulleys are very compact and require less space when compared to traditional multiple component motor transmission systems.

The PPMA is the UK's trade association for suppliers of processing and packaging machinery to the UK market and represents over 480 member and associate companies. 

The Total Processing and Packaging Exhibition has been rebranded as the PPMA Total Show (27th – 29th September 2016) and is now under the sole ownership of the PPMA. The show incorporates three major exhibition brands; PPMA, Pakex and Interphex and takes place every three years in place of that year’s PPMA Show.

In essence, the exhibition is a larger version of the annual PPMA Show that includes packaging materials as well as machinery.
