TGW hires new UK managing director
27 April 2017
Automated materials handling solutions specialist TGW Logistics Group has announced the appointment of two managing directors for its Northern Europe operations.

David Hibbett (left) joins as the managing director for TGW in the UK, from SSI Schaefer, where he was systems group director. His appointment marks an expansion of TGW's UK senior team and strengthens the corporate infrastructure due to continuing business growth and a significant increase in the UK organisation's headcount.
Scandinavia
Thomas Karlsson, who was previously Global Service Product Manager with Swisslog, will head up TGW’s operations in Scandinavia. TGW’s business in Scandinavia has grown significantly in the last few years and the company is continuing to recruit numerous new staff in the region.
Both men will have responsibility for daily operations, budgets and annual growth plans and will report directly to Andy Smith, CEO for TGW Northern Europe.
