Advanced dimensioning and weighing system launches
09 November 2017
EXDS has released the CubiScan 325 to the UK marketplace.
An advanced dimensioning and weighing system designed to measure large, irregularly-shaped items for distribution, packaging, and warehousing applications.
The CubiScan 325 uses reimagined infrared light technology to measure objects with extreme precision, in one comprehensive cubing and weighing system. Obtaining accurate dimension data has never been so fast and effortless. The CubiScan 325 combines powerful sensing technologies to create a flexible and economical solution for today’s most demanding cubing and weighing applications.
The CubiScan 325 Advantage
The CubiScan 325 delivers a dynamic dimensioning solution for challenging applications such as shipping, distribution, and on-demand box making in all retail and wholesale distribution operations. The release of this revolutionary dimensioning and weighing system will result in a higher standard of measurement accuracy. The CubiScan 325 is designed to maximise storage space and enhance carbonisation methods, which can reduce the use of packaging materials and potentially decrease rising shipping costs. It can also benefit the environment by reducing packaging waste and minimising transportation fuel costs and carbon emissions. To reduce rising parcel shipping costs and overall distribution expenses, while increasing overall efficiency, the CubiScan 325 is the most sought after tool in packaging optimisation.
CubiScan 325 Specifications
The CubiScan 325 has a measurement capacity up to 60 x 60 x 90 cm with a measurement accuracy of 1 mm. The weight capacity is 25 Kg and the weight resolution is 2g, proving just how versatile the CubiScan 325 really is. Depending on the object being measured, each measurement takes 3 to 7 seconds. A convenient touchscreen allows for easy operation and diagnostics. Proprietary software, Qbit, delivers menu-driven operator controls, data storage and transfer, and diagnostics. A mobile cart and useful accessories, such as a portable power supply, are available to create a completely mobile cubing and weighing work station.
