Frozen foods producer renews supply chain contract
05 April 2018
XPO Logistics has renewed its longstanding supply chain support of Daloon Foods, part of the Izico Food Group.
Daloon is a producer of frozen ethnic and meat-free products sold under its brand name and private label.
XPO handles Izico’s inbound product clearance, storage, repacking, order preparation, consolidation and outbound transport of some 700 pallets weekly at XPO’s temperature-controlled warehouse in Easton. The shared-user facility offers capacity to meet Izico’s seasonal requirements for stocking, staffing and transport. XPO will perform co-packing as a value-added service under the new contract.
“We are a rapidly growing business with an expanding base of customers. XPO’s flexibility and ability to grow with us has enabled us to strengthen our product range for both consumers and foodservice trade partners,” said Jan te Voert, group purchasing manager, Izico. “The XPO team has played a significant role in helping us deliver a consistent experience in order fulfilment, and we’re delighted to see this collaboration extended.”
