Applied Automation launches Carryline conveyors
Engineering firm Applied Automation (UK) is launching a range of Swedish conveyors.
Carryline’s flexible plastic chain conveyors are said to be trusted around the world in industries including food, packaging and pharmaceutical.
They can be built to meet a customer’s specific requirements and are easy to adapt, low maintenance and space efficient.
Applied Automation’s Industrial Systems division will offer a full service from design to installation of the conveyors. The system comes in six chain widths with a choice of two material options; aluminium or stainless steel for sectors with stringent hygiene demands. There is also a spiral conveyor offering a space saving solution.
Applied Automation MD, David Rowe says: “I’m delighted we’ve been able to secure the deal to become the sole national agent for Carryline in the UK. The conveyors are used for all sorts of materials handling internationally and are an excellent addition to our portfolio.
“Applied is growing rapidly, our 2014/15 sales figures were £15.5 million and the Industrial Systems division saw a 35% increase. We have ambitious plans and have just moved to a new, much larger factory to enable us to expand and increase capacity.”
Carryline is a family business that has been manufacturing conveyors for more than fifty years. Development and production is carried out in-house to ensure quality control and short lead times. The product range offers a solution for moving virtually any lightweight goods horizontally and vertically.
Applied Industrial Systems will be showcasing the Carryline conveyors on stand H34 at the PPMA Show at the NEC this September.
