Bags handling line
Food giant Nestlé and Copal Development B.V. have signed a contract regarding a solution for the automatic unloading and palletising of jute bags filled with coffee beans.
The ‘bags handling line’, has been developed by Copal Development B.V. The system unloads jute bags from containers effortlessly, detects humidity, takes samples of the content and automatically palletises the bags with a high stacking quality. Rejected bags, due to humidity or damage, will be automatically separated from the line.
Solving the issue of heavy physical work when unloading and palletising bags out of containers. The bags handling line is operated by just one employee, which ensures process optimisation, reduces operational costs and increases productivity.
