Bigger and better facilities

Espex Batteries has acquired a modern industrial and business facility in Barry, South Wales.

The new venue, just outside Cardiff, has motorway links to the rest of the country and is close enough to the local airport to make life easier for visiting international customers, says Essex. It’s also significantly larger – offering double the space – and is better equipped than the present UK HQ.

“We’re proud of everything our company has achieved over the past 15 years, and everything it stands for, such as commitment to delivering best value, proactive customer service and a drive to be the number one choice in forklift batteries,” explains Espex’s chief executive Amit Ghosal. “But we admit that our previous site wasn’t truly reflective of the Espex brand – it was a little tired, outdated and didn’t offer the physical space we needed to be able to match our ambitious growth plans. We’re excited that this is about to change following a major investment in the future of our business.”

The new location will feature a state-of-the-art battery warehouse, fitting and charging areas, training zones for staff along with a modern, beautifully-furnished office block that Espex will use to welcome guests, develop its product and service offering and manage its clients’ important accounts.

Offering views over the Bristol Channel, the on-site three storey office building can host client and supplier meetings and Espex Batteries is offering an invitation to valued contacts who would like visit after the doors officially open in April 2018.

The existing company phone, web and email details will remain unchanged.
