Canopy protects production area

Biddulph based MCL Group is a manufacturer and supplier of engineered composite products for the utility, construction and infrastructure markets. Based locally to Aganto head office in Stoke, the company needed to utilise a temporary industrial structure to cover work on their fibre glass cabins.

MCL’s operations staff were working outside on site as there was space to finish the fibre glass cabins, however as soon as the weather turned, the team would have to down tools, pack up their equipment, and move everything inside to protect from the elements.

As this was time consuming and disruptive to MCL's operations, they came to Aganto for expert advice from national sales manager John Hutchinson. John saw they had no additional space to build an extra warehouse, however their outside space was big enough it just needed covering and with access to the production warehouse.

John suggested a 15m wide x 25m wide x 6.2m eave high open-ended industrial canopy with access at each end which would protect the working area with no disruption and adjoining the warehouse which would ensure all work and transferring of products would be protected.

MCL’s Mark Cooper says: “I would like to thank John and the team at Aganto for the delivery of the temporary building project from start to finish. It ran very smoothly and they helped us through all the stages of the project from concept, planning, design and the final install thanks again and for a great product.”
