VITRONIC’s DWS-systems capture the entire shipment data including volume measuring, weighing, and code reading. OCR (optical character recognition) can also be carried out using VITRONIC’s in-house capability together with videocoding of images. All information captured by the DWS-systems is stored in a comprehensive database that can be seamlessly integrated into existing processes. 

Continuous monitoring, analyzing and reporting of the captured data are important to guarantee full visibility as well as a smooth and efficient workflow. User-friendly software is a key component of VITRONIC’s Auto-ID systems which visualizes the performance and status of the customer’s application. All data captured from each shipment including images is archived and displayed to provide full transparency.
