Collaboration drives growth

BUBL Packaging has achieved year-on-year revenue growth of 40%. The company attributes this to successful collaborations with leading players in several industry sectors to create custom solutions.

The company’s core technology, BUBL Tec, allows rapid development of custom solutions and underpins all its products.

To date custom solutions have been developed for, amongst other things, floor tiles, window casements and, most recently, surfboards – where collaboration with UniSURFity, a global surf coaching business, led to the creation of BoardBUBL, which offers complete protection for surfboards in transit.

In another collaboration, with a major UK online retailer, BUBL Packaging replaced Sealed Air – Instapak foam packaging, used for shipping cisterns, sinks and toilets, with a custom solution that has resulted in fewer breakages, increased customer satisfaction, faster packing and lower costs; in addition, there are now no hazardous chemicals in any part of the process.

Ross Woodburn, managing director, BUBL Packaging said: “BoardBUBL is a fantastic example of how we can address the needs of specific sectors by collaborating with industry experts; BUBL Tec gives us a competitive advantage by allowing rapid prototyping then a fast route to production.”
