Cost effective cartesian robot

West Midlands-based industrial robot manufacturer, Armstrong UEN, has launched two new models, claims the company, which are set to revolutionise the market by eradicating reliance on second-hand equipment and helping manufacturing businesses increase profitability

The innovative and cost-effective turnkey gantry-style robot and a robotic arm can be purpose-built to complement a wide variety of sectors, including those in handling and distribution organisations.

The company’s cartesian, four-axis industrial robots have a 60kg lifting capacity, with unlimited travel distances, 3m/s travel speeds, and safeguards incorporated into the design. Easy to fit into the width of a truck trailer, the robots can be integrated to work alongside existing machinery.

In addition, the firm’s robotic arm can be customised to meet specific requirements and due to its user-friendly software, can be applied to production processes within a very short amount of time.
