Double deck trailers

Chief executive officer Ian Howell said the investment would bring greater efficiencies to the ArrowXL fleet in terms of its fleet capacity, fuel economy and environmental footprint, and provides capacity for planned future growth.

“Each double deck will be pulling the load of 1.6 single deck trailers, bringing real savings on running costs and benefits to the environment,” he said.

The 19 double deck trailers have been manufactured specifically by Cartwright to suit the bulky nature of ArrowXL’s two-man home delivery product.
