Electric pallet truck with swap and go battery
SHS Handling has released the PowerGlide 1200, said to be a fully electric pallet truck for half the usual cost.
It is the latest addition to the Liftek Range from SHS Handling. The Liftek range of electric and semi-electric pallet trucks are a staple of warehouses, logistic hubs and showrooms across the UK. The newest addition, the PowerGlide 1200, is said to be causing a stir.
Bradley Dunn, sales and marketing director at SHS Handling explains: “The PowerGlide1200 is fully electric yet compact and easy to use. It’s actually the same size as a normal pallet truck, but at a price point dramatically lower than other fully electric options. This truck is proving to be a real game changer for us and our customers.
“Your instinct may be that such a price difference can only be achieved by compromising on the truck’s features. The PowerGlide 1200 however, punches well above its weight in almost every category.
“With an interchangeable ‘swap and go’ battery system, the PowerGlide 1200 can run day and night without any downtime for charging. A max load of 1.2 tonnes and a turning radius of 1390mm puts the PowerGlide 1200 into the same class as other, more expensive pallet trucks – with no apparent downside.”
