Enhanced forks boost safety
Bolzoni has launched Easy-Forks, camera fitted forks, to improve safety in the storage area.
The Easy-Fork range includes the Side fork camera and the Tip fork camera.
Designed for all trucks, up to 7t capacity, the Bolzoni Easy-Fork range is composed of the robust Bolzoni forks, a camera system which includes a waterproof and shock resistant camera, its cabling protected inside the fork blade and, as standard, a wireless connection to the 7 inch monitor fitted in the cabin.
This camera system fitted on the fork can improve safety in the warehouse and in the vehicle loading and unloading operations: the forklift truck operator is sitting in the most comfortable way on his seat keeping the best ergonomic position, keeping a clear view of the fork tips, even when the load is on the forks.
The camera can be mounted on the inner side of the right fork with a 52o H optic. The camera positioning allows a clear view of the paired fork while maintaining the centre of the optic axis on the right fork. Particularly useful for operations at high heights, during the loading phase when the visibility of the driver is poor, this solution is very appreciated by OEMs for factory installation. The connection to the monitor is wireless, as standard, and with cable reel for wired applications as option.
The vision system can also be configured to view forwards, with the IR camera integrated in the tip of the fork with connection cable inside the blade. The standard connection to the monitor is wireless and the battery and converter position is following Bolzoni hydraulic reach forks configuration in a well-protected and easy to access position. This type of solution allows the complete visibility upfront even when the load is on the forks. It is possible to get an optional connection with cable reel.
