Fleet truck of the year
The new DAF XF Euro 6 has been named ‘Fleet Truck of the Year 2014’ by a panel of 12 experts in Ireland’s annual Export & Freight Transport & Logistics Awards.
The judges from Ireland’s transport and logistic industry gave the DAF XF the top honours thanks to its performance, reliability, driver safety and comfort, fuel efficiency and the aftersales support from the DAF dealer network.
In particular, the judges said that the new DAF XF ‘sets the benchmark in terms of efficiency’ and praised it for its low kerbweight and thus high payload.
