Focus on quick and efficient data capture

Vitronic, a leading provider of Auto-ID solutions, will present its powerful systems at IMHX.

At the essential intralogistics event in the UK, the company highlights its state-of-the-art hardware, intuitive software and comprehensive lifetime services.

Markets are merging and global trade is becoming digitised and faster. More e-commerce and increasingly complex supply chains require integrated solutions. With its automated DWS-system (Dimensioning, Weighing, Scanning), Vitronic offers a complete solution for quickly and efficiently capturing packages.

State-of-the-art hardware

Vitronic’s DWS-systems offer major benefits – customers can rely on a complete solution that captures the entire shipment data including volume measuring, weighing, and code reading. Furthermore, OCR (optical character recognition) can also be carried out using Vitronic’s in-house capability together with videocoding of images. All information captured by the DWS-systems is stored in a comprehensive database that can be seamlessly integrated into existing processes. The range of products covers suitable applications for every package size – from small items such as envelopes through conveyable items like parcels to non-conveyable items i.e. pallets. At IMHX, Vitronic showcases its DWS-system for manual sorting of small packages and documents.

Intuitive software

User-friendly software is a key component of Vitronic’s Auto-ID systems which visualises the performance and status of the customer’s application. All data captured from each shipment including images is archived and displayed to provide full transparency.

Lifetime services

Vitronic has also extended its service packages, including comprehensive consulting, different preventive and corrective maintenance packages as well as training and upgrading.
