Forklift firm celebrates 30 years with a serving of Brown Sugar
HFT Forklifts has celebrated 30 years of serving businesses in Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Shropshire and Gloucestershire with a rock extravaganza featured acclaimed rockers the Counterfeit Stones.
Attended by 250 of the family-run firm’s most valued customers, suppliers and staff, the Rock On Concert was held at the Lyde Arundel near Hereford.
For just over two hours, the audience partied to a string of classic Stones tracks before enjoying a gourmet supper and themed cocktails in what all agreed was a memorable night.
The event was the culmination of a year-long celebration of the company, its history and, most importantly, its customers.
“When HFT began 30 years ago, we recognised that, as a business, we could only ever be as successful as our customers’ operations” explains Peter Crawford, Chairman.
“So our key aim has been to provide our customers with the very best materials handling equipment solutions…. And a truly personal service.”
“This guiding principle – working in close association with our customers and suppliers – has enabled our businesses to go from strength to strength. So it was totally fitting for them to mark this important milestone with us.”
HFT invited customers to join in the celebrations by organising a range of fun and informative events.
In March, the company’s Horse and Pound evening gave racing enthusiasts the opportunity to find out the latest racing tips for Cheltenham from a racing insider – along with the chance to meet renowned equine artist Jeremy Houghton.
Swapping one course for another in June, HFT’s competitive golf day offered teams of customers the chance to network and take in a round.
In September, HFT staged its Forklift Safety Challenge, which put the skills and judgement of the area’s forklift truck operators to the test, in an event designed to raise awareness of fork truck safety and to help customers improve site safety.
HFT Forklifts Limited is a Distributor of Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks in Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcester and Gloucestershire.
