Powrmatic have invested heavily in its manufacturing plant in Ilminster with the addition of the Unison Breeze 50mm Dual Stack CNC Tube Bender.
The Unison bender now joins the Salvagnini PX4E Panel bending machine and the Amada EMZ 3612 turret punch press in the Powrmatic factory and will bring all heater tube bending onsite to improve productivity and lead time.
The company says: “The addition of the Unison Breeze Tube Bender will bring a significant advantage to the manufacturing capabilities of Powrmatic. Having the ability to control all tube bending in house, along with the speed of the Unison Breeze, it will improve our lead times and quality control. With the volume of tube bending required at Powrmatic it will also provide a permanent employment for a production operative which is excellent.”
