High bay luminaires

Carbon8Lighting says that it is putting competitors in the dark with the launch of the ultra-efficient LED High Bay, the Discus Gen2. Following on from the popular Discus High Bay a new, higher lumen and more cost effective product has been designed for illuminating a wide range of areas such as warehouses, factories and commercial businesses.

Discus Gen2 replaces conventional sodium and metal halide fittings, consuming a fraction of the energy and eliminating expensive lamp replacement and maintenance.

Using a combination of high quality materials, leading edge technology and intelligent design, Carbon8Lighting has engineered a robust and reliable IP65 rated light fitting. The Discus Gen2 operates in the harshest environments and provides unparalleled performance in excess of 160 lumens per watt, offering value for money and impressive return on investment figures.

The high output module used within the Discus Gen2 offers complete stability in a wide range of temperatures, whilst maintaining consistent light output throughout the life of the fitting. The Discus Gen2 is powered using the Meanwell ELG Series driver. Features of this driver include surge protection, temperature safety shut down and extremely low power factor to ensure impressive performance and reliability.
