Induction courses

Whether employing as a group or as individuals, temporary and agency workers should have the same level of health and safety protection as permanent staff.

Employers must ensure individuals are included in risk assessments and know what measures are in place to protect them. If they do not have occupational qualifications or skills needed for the job but are still taken on then they will need training to industry standards before being allowed responsibility for their job role within the company.

Britannia Safety and Training offers an in-house induction course (6 hour session) for up to 12 members of staff to cover the following subjects:

  • Health & Safety Awareness
  • COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health)
  • Manual Handling
  • Food Safety
  • Fire Safety
