Internal monorail
THINK ABOUT a rail network, with single or twin tracks, main lines, branch lines and switches (or points).
Now consider that rail network travelling not only horizontally but vertically or at any incline throughout a building or facility. On this rail network imagine a fleet of cars or trolleys that can travel to and from any point on the network all automatically controlled by a sophisticated traffic management system that ensures every journey is completed without collision or intervention.
This describes the Telelift Electric Track Vehicle systems. Available in two sizes: Unicar is used for payloads up to 15kg and Multicar for payloads up to 50kg. Telelift ETV systems are designed to carry payloads horizontally and vertically using a wide range of standard and special trolleys, cars and load handling devices.
Payloads can be loaded and unloaded manually or automatically; transactions can be instigated either through HMI touchscreens, or by integration to external systems vie either digital I/O or data interfaces.
One of the unique features of the Telelift systems is the ability to travel vertically. This not only delivers the ability to move payloads, for example, between different floors, it also enables an intralogistics system across a manufacturing floor to be routed at high level, clear of pedestrian and other traffic, and only descend directly at the point of use or operation.
Many of the cars, trolleys and load handling devices are designed to keep the payload consistently horizontal during transportation, either through gravity pendulum effect or using dynamic motor-driven rotation.
