Knifeless opening of boxes
Tesa has launched a packaging tape – tesa 4190 – which is designed to facilitate knifeless opening of boxes and cartons.
This eliminates the risk of cutting into valuable goods and damaging the inner packaging.
With a strong adhesive backing of PP film, a synthetic rubber adhesive and a tensile strength of 43 N/cm, tesa 4190 reliably seals light and medium range weight cartons. It can be removed in one swift motion by using the fingerlift which is identified by its red colour.
