Latest team member at AITT

Posted on Monday 10 June 2024

HARD ON the heels of reporting double-digit growth in membership, the UK’s fastest-growing accrediting body for the materials handling sector has announced plans to strengthen its support team.

With immediate effect, Peter Williams will be joining AITT as its new technical coordinator. AITT managing director Liam Knight says: “Peter will be a fantastic addition to our team, and I know he will prove extremely valuable to our membership. He is widely experienced having spent more than 12 years working as a trainer within the materials handling industry so fully understands the issues facing training providers.”

In this new role, Mr Williams will be working with Jules Cook, AITT’s technical manager in delivering support for the organisation’s growing userbase.

Peter says: “I’ve been an admirer of AITT for a long time, so I’m naturally delighted to be coming on board. I’ve worked extensively with AITT during my time as a trainer and have experienced, first-hand, the levels of support that have seen AITT achieve industry-leading levels of customer satisfaction in surveys. I can’t wait to get stuck in!”

Jules Cook adds: “Having Peter join the team is going to be invaluable in its help to me delivering technical support. We’ve always prided ourselves on our quality of service, and expanding the team is another key step in our mission to ensuring that training providers and instructors get the quality that they deserve. I couldn’t be happier to have someone as experienced as Peter with us at AITT…”
