New contract a perfect fit
End-to-end international logistics service provider Torque has won a major new contract with women’s fashion group, Uttam London.
Torque has been appointed to handle more than 1.2 million garments and accessories a year by the London-based client, with the client using their sea and ocean freight, receipt, quality control, storage, fulfilment and delivery services to supply more than 800 retail, wholesale and concession-based outlets.
Uttam is developing its warehousing using Torque’s expertise, who operate using the market RedPrairie warehouse management system, so goods can be stored and picked from a single stock base.
