New mezzanine
Distribution business Jeavons Eurotir recently installed a 470 sq m mezzanine floor on top of its existing despatch area, taking three 3 weeks to carry out the work.
The Birmingham firm recently won a contract to import automotive glass components, unpacking, preparing and repackaging ready to be delivered directly to car plant production lines in the UK.
Handling fragile and repacking glass products meant that this operation would needed its own space, well away from the normal warehousing and distribution activities.
Amvar Handling Solutions took on the project, providing design, installation, racking and materials handling equipment.
