New website for Exporta

Posted on Friday 27 August 2021

THE WEBSITE has been designed to provide much greater visibility of products.

Exporta managing director Dale Paterson, said: “Exporta offer such a wide, deep and comprehensive range of products for the product handling, store and stock movement environments, it’s hard to encapsulate all we do in a single message. At the design stage of our new website, it was therefore critical for us to ensure that we made it even easier for our customers and prospects to not only find and purchase products, but to provide them with practical guidance and information they need for taking a deeper dive into particular solutions applicable to their own sectors.

“With such a huge range of products, many of which have multiple uses, the improved website navigation and enhanced search facility will make it easy for our customers to quickly find what they are looking for. Sharing our extensive industry knowledge and experience with our customers was a key objective in the overall design of the website.”

Knowledge Base

Better signposting to relevant products and services was therefore introduced as a feature of the new Knowledge Base. This comprises blogs, case studies and videos, together with industry specific information pertaining to a wide range of industries. These allow website visitors to take that deeper dive to discover new or alternative offerings.

Whether purchasing one or many items, the Exporta website continues to offer quick and easy ordering, with next day delivery on many product lines.

It is also easy to sign up online for an Exporta Business Plus account. This provides customers with:

• Next day delivery on orders of core products when placed before 4pm

• Tailored credit limits and terms

• Access to the Exporta loyalty scheme where increasing percentage discounts are awarded for annual spends over £2,500

• Access to 24-hour online trading

Wood-Goulbourn concedes that, whilst the Exporta website has been designed with ease of ordering in mind, there will be times when there really is no substitute for personal contact. “We have tried to pour as much detailed information into the website as possible. There are however occasions when a customer will need more of our input – perhaps they are considering a bespoke product or are looking to fit out their warehouse. At Exporta, we can handle these requirements and it only takes a call for us to help customers kick start a project. Our freephone and email contact details are, as you’d expect, posted on our website. Additionally, we have a live chat facility manned by knowledgeable Exporta consultants, who will be able to advise customers on anything from simple enquiries to the more complex project matters.”
