New website for trading used forklifts
The website enables forklift truck dealers to market their machines to both end users, and traders alike. It has been set up to help dealers sell and hire trucks, while also sourcing machines for their own fleet.
The nature of the site – www.forktrucktraders.co.uk – and the way it is advertised, means that end users search for dealers (and machines) who are located near them. This means the end-user receives a machine with strong local back up, whilst the dealer receives business enquiries local to them.
Dealers can upload machines for sale or for hire, and are able to set machines to be visible to the end-user market or only to other signed in dealers, giving the dealer total control over who can see their stock.
Both end-users and dealers can set up targeted alerts to be made aware as soon as any machines they may be interested in are uploaded to the site.
The site has been set up by former dealer principal and current FLTA Chairman, Duncan Nealon, who sold Bendigo Mitchell to Impact Handling in 2017, and digital marketing guru, Elliot Cooke.
