Packaging paper permeability testing
Cerulean Instrumentation used the recent PulPaper exhibition to showcase its Paper Permeability Measurement (PPM) instruments and Carton Testers
The PPM device measures the permeability of a range papers used for packaging materials and manufacturing. The volumetric airflow through the sample is measured and permeability is recorded for comparison purposes. The instrument’s touch-screen allows easy calibration and configuration.
Visitors saw a new optical carton tester (OCT) demonstrated with HD handheld camera, measuring and recording dimensions, angles, and symmetry of carton crease, bead and formed box.
