Platform attachment plus

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

Packline has released a platform lifting attachment, with rollers, stop bar and drip tray, which was designed and manufactured to meet with a customer’s specific lifting and handling requirements.

The platform is used to lift and handle a range of containers and vessels and bring them to and from a heated cabinet. The containers are transported on a tray which is then loaded on the platform.

The tray ensures that the containers being lifted remain stable and upright whist a removable drip tray is provided as part of the platform to collect any spillage or drips.

A swing arm stop provides a temporary register and holds the trays on the platforms rollers while in transit.

A quick release plunger is used to lock the swing arm in the tray retention position or to release it to swing clear, as and when required.

These features provide easy control which enables the operator to lift, transport and handle various items with complete confidence and safety.

The lifting equipment and its attachment are entirely suitable for the food industry and other hygienic high care applications.

The attachment is backed up by a full bespoke design service so ensuring that the right solution can be made to suit most lifting requirements.

All Packline attachments are fully interchangeable and can be easily fitted or removed from any model of Compac lifting machine that is fitted with the attachment quick release system.
