Pramac launches motorised pallet truck

The new Agile pallet truck is said to be one of the fastest on the market, reaching a maximum of 5km/h with 100% battery operation to provide a safe and accurate materials handling solution delivering improved productivity, health and wellbeing for operators.

Using Lithium-Ion technology, Agile is fully charged in two hours. Replacement batteries can also be changed easily enabling the operator to continue working without interruption.

Its lightweight and compact shape make it ideal for use in confined warehouse spaces and the quick lift option enables operatives to lift loads in two strokes with a weight capacity up to 1.2 tonnes.

A key feature is also the two-wheel drive and electronic traction control which provides the operator with high stability and smooth operation on slopes and level floors.

Paul Jones, national handling manager from Pramac said: “In this era of robotisation, manual and semi-electric pallet trucks still have an important role to play in helping goods to be loaded and moved across sites. We are delighted with the response to the Agile. It is already in trial across several sites in the UK who are looking for versatile and robust manual pallet truck solutions that help teams work safely, and in an efficient manner.”

Incorporating digital controls, the Agile’s onboard computer provides diagnostic settings, on board trip to manage distances and a maximum speed setting, while the digital display makes it easy to control and operate the truck when in use.

The Agile is available in the UK with two variants featuring the Agile and the Agile Plus which offers an IP54 rating for use outdoors and even higher power capability.
