Preventative maintenance

Posted on Friday 1 January 2010

When it comes to keeping goods correctly packaged for delivery, packaging machinery supplier, Aetna, suggests that preventative maintenance is the key to continuous production.

“If wrapping and packaging machines are not correctly installed and maintained, and if the employees responsible for operating these machines are not properly trained, product supply chains can quickly fail with the resulting loss of supplier profit and reputation,” says Paddy McCartney, national sales manager of Aetna Group UK.

Aetna UK runs a successful service contract scheme on the full range of its machines, something that is required by most insurance companies.
