Promising manoeuvrability
The compact low-lift pallet truck Piccolo PLL from Atlet by UniCarriers combines maximum manoeuvrability with easy operation in one truck.
With its narrow dimensions and small turning radius, it can also be used in confined spaces. An ergonomically optimised offset tiller mounted on the side of the truck is used to operate the vehicle.
Driver visibility is thus perceptibly greater since the operator can also walk beside the truck during transport. UniCarriers is currently testing prototypes of the Piccolo PLL that run on efficient lithium-ion batteries which are charged wirelessly.
The most striking feature of the Piccolo PLL is the offset tiller arm: unlike conventional pallet trucks, the tiller on this truck is located on the right side. This gives the operator an optimised field of vision compared to centre-mounted controls.
