Rapid action doors installed quickly
Sauces manufacturer Jigsaw Foods in Shirebrook, Mansfield needed two new doors in one of its factory units in an area where ingredients are first unpacked to be moved into production.
Head of operations at Jigsaw, Trevor Arthur, got in touch with Stanair's Rugby Depot to get the lowdown.
After understanding the requirements needed for the doorways, Stanair recommended installing two Nergeco Rapid Action Agro Doors. The doors open and close at 1 metre per second, which is a great aide to pest control – a very important function for the food industry. The doors are also made with a polyester curtain, therefore being easy to wipe clean.
Stanair engineers were set the task of installing both doors quickly and efficiently. Time is of the essence in the food industry, so a speedy response time was key.
“I’d known from my previous job that Stanair always responded in quick time,” said Trevor. “I’m very happy to say that this has continued to be the case. Once the install went ahead the engineers did a great job and were very professional.”
