When Endon Lighting approached Greenbank for help with the excess plastic wrapping and cardboard that is a bi-product of its business, Greenbank recommended the installation of two balers – one for shrink wrap and the other for cardboard.
According to Greg Ward, Endon’s warehouse manager, the result has been dramatic. “Not only have we significantly reduced the amount of waste and therefore the costs of disposing of our rubbish, but the income generated from the sale of our plastic and cardboard has already surpassed the figure estimated by Greenbank,” he said.
