Remote diagnostics
Datatrade has launched Reg. a new remote engineer service to enable warehouse and retail distribution centres to keep their mobile printers working, minimising downtime and also reducing costs and the stock of pool printers.
Reg. differs is a cost-effective way of putting printer engineer skills and knowledge on site without a physical presence. Customers with no IT capabilities can use Reg. to help fix first line fault issues or diagnose second line issues where printers really do have to be sent away for repair.
This initial intervention often means faults can be fixed in situ and printers won’t have to be removed from site for what could be a fortnight.
