Rugged Android tablet

At this year’s Commercial Vehicle Show Isotrak, provider of vehicle tracking and telematics solutions, and Getac, global designer and manufacturer of rugged computing technology, will show how a robust and user-friendly mobile computing platform benefits commercial fleet operations and off-site workers.

Demonstrations will show how their integrated solution provides a mobile computing solution that facilitates data entry, data collection, GPS tracking, fleet visibility and more, and the ability to operate in almost any environment.

The Getac Z710 runs Android 4.1 and has a 7-inch touchscreen which is readable in direct sunlight and, crucial for mobile workers, a battery that provides more than ten hours of operational time. It is a fully integrated device, which includes a 1D/2D barcode reader and advanced GPS technology (SiRFstarIVTM) accurate to 1.5m.
