SHE Awards director David Bishop said: “The inaugural Safety and Health Excellence Awards were a huge success with a large number of entries and 420 people in attendance at the gala awards dinner itself.
“We’d encourage as many people to submit entries as possible as this is the perfect way to gain well deserved recognition for your colleague, team, project, product or company for the vital work performed to keep people and premises safe. It’s free to enter and culminates with the industry’s biggest networking event of the year, which will take place at the Vox, Birmingham on 10 April 2019. Not only is the evening immensely enjoyable but it’s a chance to celebrate excellence in our industry.”
The Awards will once again encompass the well-established British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF) Awards that promote the importance of innovation and underline the highest standards of excellence within occupational safety and health.
BSIF CEO Alan Murray added: “The prestigious BSIF Safety Awards recognise excellence within the safety industry, excellence in customer service, product innovation and have the key goal of improving occupational health and safety. The awards are an ideal opportunity to highlight your achievement and your company’s efforts in this vital field. The awards help us to celebrate this amazing industry”.
