Safetyworks rallies for charity
Team Safetyworks has returned jubilant after participating in the Scumrun 2013 charity banger rally.
To enter a team for the Scumrun, an ‘old banger’ is purchased for no more than £500, which can then be modified in readiness for the rally. The route takes the teams across Europe, but each destination is not known until the start of each new day, with several thousand miles being covered over the four days.
For 2013, the Scumrun charity is WellChild, which helps sick children and their families throughout the UK as they deal with the consequences of serious illness and complex conditions.
