A NEW survey by The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in the UK (CILT (UK)) reveals 86% of organisations are experiencing staff shortages and struggling to recruit and retain staff.

“Sadly, the skills shortage is clearly not easing for many of the country’s largest logistics organisations, but for those wanting to refresh their recruitment and retention strategies, it’s easy to make some simple changes to how and what is offered to workers that will deliver instant improvements,” comments HIVE360 CEO David McCormack.

HIVE360 provides expert, compliant and reliable PAYE payroll support and comprehensive employment administration that includes support to kickstart employee engagement strategies and activities, via its mobile employee pay and benefits app Engage.

“Having a supportive workforce culture with a wellbeing programme and employee benefits package not only increases staff attraction, it also helps lower staff absences, increases morale, improves efficiency and productivity, boosts the employer brand, and enables employee recognition and financial support.”
