Ship Taller Pallets
The Airflow GEN 2 Layer Lifter can accommodate both standard and Euro pallets (1200mm x 1000mm or 1200mm x 800mm), which means both types can be loaded and unloaded with the same machine.
Pallets of any type of product can now be loaded one way and unloaded the opposite way with the one side in, one side out GEN 2 Layer Lifter. The machine also works in the same with plastic trays.
Many companies are now sending and receiving taller pallets creating great savings on transport costs. For every additional layer of product on each pallet you get two extra pallets on the lorry. As well as saving cash, the approach is kinder on the environment.
At IPL Normanton they receive taller pallets and it initially caused a problem for staff. The installation of the GEN 2 means pallets are now easily split into 2 in less than 30 seconds. You can also change a damaged pallet with the same machine.
With the new GEN 2 Layer Lifter, companies who ship products of all types can load taller pallets can now reduce them down to manageable sizes without lifting a box manually and whichever way round they come off the lorry.
