Shortlisted for award
Good to Go Safety is shortlisted for this year’s “Contribution to Safe Working at Height” award at the prestigious International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs) in March 2015.
Its Safe Equipment Management System (SEMS) encourages pre-use checks for a wide range of workplace equipment – including MEWPs, forklifts, racking, pallet trucks, trailers, vehicles and many more.
A tag is attached to equipment, displaying a “Do Not Use” message until a pre-use check is completed and placed inside the tag to indicate to everyone when it is “Good to Go”. A duplicate copy of the checklist is also retained for management records.
Key benefits include: Reduce the potential for accidents; Compliance with legislation and industry best practice; Documented evidence of equipment maintenance; Reduction in maintenance costs; Quick and easy to use/implement; Indicates equipment status with up-to-date information before it is used; Allows instant quarantine of equipment if faults are found.
Graham Halliday, product manager says: “We are extremely proud that Good to Go Safety has been shortlisted for such a prestigious award and thankful that our hard work and dedication to improving workplace safety has been recognised.”
