Speed and integration stand out for new automated packaging system

Posted on Monday 24 February 2025

PACKSIZE HAS launched the X6 automated right-sized packaging system.

The company says the X6 is the highest capacity erected box machine available on the market, capable of creating up to 1,500 flat-bottom boxes per hour from corrugated Z-fold. The X6 can produce both boxes with flaps and corrugated trays, facilitating integration with goods-to-person and shuttle systems.

Producing right-sized trays enables picking directly into shipping boxes, and can replace totes as they are conveyable, and are usable with various operator workstations. The X6 will be available with both box closing and lidding modules.

Packsize chief revenue officer Brian Reinhart, says: “Through our collaboration and technology integration with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Shuttle, & Goods-to-Person (G2P) partners, we are once again delivering a best-in-class packaging machine for a more productive customer experience.”

“In addition to delivering an industry-leading throughput, the X6 produces a broad range of box sizes, including the capacity to produce boxes small enough to fit through envelope slots.

“This capability supports our customers by enabling them to comply with new regulations such as the European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and furthers the Packsize mission of reducing environmental impact with tailored, right-sized packaging solutions that make a difference.”

Packsize will be at LogiMAT,  Stand 6F61
