Timber supply secured
Leading pallet manufacturer, Scott Pallets, has sealed a five year partnership agreement with Britain’s largest sawmilling business, BSW, for the supply of pallet timber.
The partnership agreement formalises and builds upon already strong trading relationship forged over a number of years during which time Scott Pallets had become established as one of BSW’s largest customers. The business will also maintain supply through its other existing timber supply partners.
Scott Group has previously expressed its commitment to growth in the UK market with a number of strategic decisions including a multimillion pound investment in the development of the six acre site at the Port of Burntisland in to a state-of-the-art pallet manufacturing facility; and further investment at its key site in Huntingdon to accommodate increases in customer demand.
