Toshiba TEC keeps couriers posted

The B-FV4 desktop printer series from Toshiba TEC is said to provide the perfect printing solution for courier and post room environments. Offering the ultimate in flexibility and ruggedness, they create stamp and shipping labels that are both crisp and clear.

The two models – B-FV4D-GH10 and B-FV4D-GL10 – are packed with features that help create more streamlined workflows. Small enough to fit into the tightest of spaces and housed in sleek black shells, their built-in power supplies and low power consumption offer a green printing solution. The ‘Label w/o Liner’ model has more compact label rolls without any backing paper waste.

Direct thermal and thermal transfer technology is used and both variants are available in 300dpi and 200dpi options with USB memory support, with a host of connectivity options as standard.

Drop-in paper loading allows quick and easy changes of media, while consumable parts can be upgraded thanks to a snap-in printhead and platen assembly. The B-FV4 range is supported by a wide array of long-lasting consumables.

Each machine facilitates the use of a 300m ribbon, improving efficiency with less media changes required. Ribbons are available in various grades and qualities.

"Combined with the all-important Toshiba TEC reliability, the B-FV4 series is a rugged and robust workhorse for courier and post based environments of all sizes," says Jeremy Spencer, Marketing Director at Toshiba TEC. "It raises the bar for what customers should expect from a desktop printer and I’m confident that its high performance, incredible efficiency and excellent user friendliness will be welcomed by end users."
