Transporting abnormal loads

Empteezy recognised the need for a delivery partner of esteemed reputation which they found in Dyce Carriers.

Working together since 2017, the spill containment specialists approached the national road transport business that operates a fleet of 100 modern haulage trucks. With a variety of large steel units being manufactured at the Empteezy factory in Livingston, access to the Dyce Carrier range of HIAB vehicles and trailers ensures however big a unit may be, it can be transported.

This is particularly prevalent in the bespoke compounds and bunded storage units manufactured by Empteezy. The latest project saw a three-part compound being delivered to the North of England with the ability to hold 192 drums or 16 IBCs. With dimensions of around 11 x 8 x 5 metres, the teams worked together to create a successful logistical solution.

The magnitude of these products are handled by Dyce Carriers perfectly, who are more than equipped to deal with abnormal loads via their extended trailers and experienced drivers.

It is not simply the quality of the fleet on offer that cements the strong working relationship between the two companies however; for Empteezy, it is important to work with an organisation that has reflected values. Both hold ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditations, improving on air quality and work hard to maintain the highest of environmental standards.
