Truck mounted forklift range expands
HIAB HAS introduced the Moffett E5 NX as the third model in the eSeries of all-electric truck mounted forklifts.
The Moffett E5 NX is the specialist for medium to heavy-duty tasks lifting up to 2,500kg. It is the world's first electric truck mounted forklift with a moving mast.
The Moffett E5 NX has all-wheel drive and can be delivered with 4-way steering, meaning all wheels can rotate 90 degrees. It can go forwards, backwards, left and right, making it possible to operate in confined areas and transfer loads quickly and safely off-road, through busy sites and inside warehouses. The E5's moving mast combined with Lift Assist gives the user true one side offloading.
The truck has Moffett’s HMI display that provides information about the forklift’s performance and maintenance needs. As it has access to Hiab’s HiConnect service, the location, performance and other vital data can also be monitored online.
Moffett now offers three all-electric models, also including the E2, E4 NX launched in 2020.
