Twinplast launches foldable pallet box
TWINPLAST, SAID to be the UK’s only dedicated manufacturer of corrugated polypropylene solutions, has launched a new foldable pallet box which costs around 85% less than the traditional plastic equivalent.
Developed by Twinplast’s in-house technical design team, the box comprises three durable components which are supplied flat-packed and can be assembled in seconds. The material is robust and impact-resistant yet weighs significantly less than like-for-like plastic containers. In keeping with the company’s commitment to working sustainably, the product represents a long-life solution that is easily reusable and recyclable.
As well as providing savings on unit price, Twinplast’s foldable box saves on volumetric weight, a critical metric in supporting efficiency in transport and logistics. It will allow companies to adjust their packaging strategies and use lighter materials without compromising product protection.
