UK fastest growing market in Europe for AR Racking
Spanish racking manufacturer AR Racking is intensifying its export activities and sees the UK as a key market.
The UK is its fastest growing market in Europe with some blue chip clients secured by the racking firm.
To back up its presence in the UK, AR Racking has appointed Tony Saunders to national key account manager for the UK and Alberto de la Puente as area export manager for the UK distribution area. Saunders has more than 20 years of experience in the logistics sector in relevant positions in pallet racking, while de la Puente has occupied the position of export manager with industrial companies with a strong international presence.
This move is part of an AR Racking growth program with the aim of strengthening its different lines of business, especially the areas of project integration and key accounts.
This also includes expanding its Tudela factory and opening a new manufacturing line for industrial shelving components.
This new line has already completed the objective of a productive capacity of more than 80,000 tonnes per year.
In addition, AR Racking has doubled the space of its technology centre, and expanded offices for commercial staff with creative space for expanded engineering and research activity.
AR’s fully automated manufacturing facility gives it the capacity to provide strong engineered solutions in impressive delivery times. This has helped AR complete the installation of large projects in the UK.
